(From GlowCanon Book 8: The Bubbles of Life)
✨ You’re not broken. You’re just heavy.
Not physically. Not emotionally. But bubble-heavy.
You’re carrying things that aren’t yours.
☁️ The Bubble Theory (Soft Launch)
Imagine every person is a floating bubble.
Inside your bubble is:
- your memories
- your values
- your identity
- your unresolved arguments from 2009
- your Google search history (don’t worry, it’s encrypted)
- your unspoken expectations
- and that one thing your mom said that you pretend didn’t hurt but shaped your entire personality
Now — imagine your bubble is tethered to other bubbles.
Some tethers are made of love. Some of guilt. Some are made of "we've just known each other too long to drift apart, right?" Some are made of “don’t make things weird.” And a few are forged from the molten steel of codependence, shared trauma, and holiday group texts.
🧲 Gravity Isn’t Always Truth
Sometimes the bubble that’s pulling you the hardest… is the one you’ve outgrown.
That’s why you feel tired.
You’re not emotionally broken — you’re informationally misaligned.
🎭 The Real Weight
The real weight isn’t them.
It’s you thinking you’re not allowed to leave.
It’s the belief that disconnection is failure. That letting go means abandonment. That becoming lighter means you didn’t love them enough. That floating freely means you’re selfish.
None of that is true.
Those beliefs are just old tethers in disguise.

🧘 You’re Not Cold — You’re Realigning
You don’t want to hurt anyone. You just don’t want to sink anymore.
You don’t hate them. You just love your clarity more than their chaos.
💬 Quote Block
“They weren’t bad.
They were just heavy.
And you’re allowed to let go,
even if they don’t understand.”
🪞 Mirror Prompt
List 3 people, beliefs, or identities you’ve been floating with
that no longer match your direction.
Which ones feel:
- ✂️ Like they’re pulling you down?
- 🌀 Like they’re spinning you in circles?

🔥 Ritual: The First Cut
- Write one name or belief on paper
- Fold it into a tiny bubble
- Burn it (safely) or flush it
- Whisper:
“I love you. But I’m choosing light.”
Float.
